Cute Christmas gift

Took this picture with my camera phone... hence, the poor picture quality

This CUTE super-short ladies boxers from Kashieca caught my eye while I was window shopping in Rockwell. It's a cute Christmas present for those on a budget. Your girlfriends would love this! And it's in this adorable box, which actually reminds of the cupcake store in Serendra

That's all for now..

Monique Lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier makes us proud to be Pinoy! The gala benefit was elegant, fabulous, and touching! It was such a sweet sight seeing Monique's father tear while he hugged his daughter at the end of the show. He must have been so proud, seeing all the beautiful people cheering for his little girl... Awww..

Anyway, enough of the softy side, and on with the main event. The gala was very well attended. It was nothing short of perfection; feminine, elegant, sophisticated, simply beauuuutifuuullllll! The stage was decorated with opulent chandeliers, and candilabras. The ready- to- wear line was composed of clean, timeless pieces. As Lea Salonga said, A Monique never goes out of style.

And the bridal, which really deserved a standing ovation was D-I-V-I-N-E!!! The melange of satin, lace, and tafetta never looked so heavenly (especially under the chandeliers). I bet the models felt like a million bucks! ( Actually, I heard that the pieces were priced at $2,500-$20,000, ouch!) But it would be worth every penny! Hay... and for the rest of us, who dont have $20,000 to spare for a dress, all we can do is dream that we are donned in our favorite Monique tonight.

the fash pack has pictures of the event, will try to upload photo's from my camera phone. As of now, pictures of the loot bag.. heehee.

Imeldific!

So the baghag has spilled the beans, none other than Madame Imelda Marcos is coming out with her own accessories line composed of her own trinkets and baubles, no less.

Owning a piece of The Imelda Collection is like having a part of our history in your jewelry box (ok, fine maybe that’s an exaggeration). But really, each piece is from Mrs. Marcos’ personal collection discovered in old trunks in Leyte. Charms from her visits to China and Russia, as well as leftover buttons from her suits worn in important events, adorn the collection.

I love the idea that Mrs. Marcos has reinvented herself from being the Imeldific to this generations most sought after accessories doyen. I’ am sure that The Imelda Collection will be sold out instantly. Everyone wants a piece of history. I know I do, I can’t wait to see the entire collection and hopefully get my hands on one.

People may have opposing political views when it comes to the Marcoses but I dont think anyone can contend that Mrs. Marcos single-handedly placed the Philippines in the international fashion scene. Fashion Houses such as Ferragamo, Dior, Valentino and Balenciaga may have never heard of the Philippines before Imelda became one of their best customers.

Thanks baghag for sharing this info!

I dream of .... Karl Lagerfeld (part 1)

"My only ambition in life is to wear size 28 jeans.” - Karl Lagerfeld

I dream of.. Karl Lagerfeld! He is absolutely brilliant. From leading ladies to supermodels, designer Karl Lagerfeld has dressed them all. Lagerfeld, designer of Chanel, Fendi, Lagerfeld Collection, and a new Karl Lagerfeld line is named the "Boy Prince of Fashion."

Some 22 years after he was recruited to revive the Paris fashion house Chanel, the 66-year-old designer still wins plaudits for keeping the brand fresh while preserving its classic appeal. With his white ponytail, dark glasses, and black-and-white wardrobe, Lagerfeld is an enduring icon in an industry where superstardom is usually fleeting.

Since dreams are for free, I dream of donning a Chanel everyday.
Chanel.. Beautiful, surreal, sublime, CLASSIC!
You can never go wrong with Chanel. Need I say more?

Agent Provocateur

"Have you ever had one of those dreams when you're either really big or really tiny?" whispers Kate Moss... In her second of four films for Agent Provocateur.

"TODAY's the day Agent Provocateur will put its second Kate Moss film live on its website – and you can see the trailer here first. Directed by Mike Figgis, the four films were shot in the pitch black and explore the nature of dreams featuring the very first, long-awaited acting role from Moss. They give, we're told, "the viewer the impression of witnessing a fascinating personal account of a beautiful woman's private dream experiences." The first, Shadows was a saucily thrilling entry into the world of Miss X, while today's film, Scale, sees her enter the surreal interior of room 56 which is full of distortion and extraordinary proportions – as if Kate has become AP's own Alice Through The Looking Glass. "Have you ever had the feeling that you are too big or too small? Heavy as a weight or light as a feather?" she breathes. The third film, Exhibitionist, is due to show on January 3 – and is rumoured to be the sexiest of the four, with all Kate's clothes literally falling off – while the fourth, Narcissist will hit screens on March 4." - Vogue UK
