Monique Lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier makes us proud to be Pinoy! The gala benefit was elegant, fabulous, and touching! It was such a sweet sight seeing Monique's father tear while he hugged his daughter at the end of the show. He must have been so proud, seeing all the beautiful people cheering for his little girl... Awww..

Anyway, enough of the softy side, and on with the main event. The gala was very well attended. It was nothing short of perfection; feminine, elegant, sophisticated, simply beauuuutifuuullllll! The stage was decorated with opulent chandeliers, and candilabras. The ready- to- wear line was composed of clean, timeless pieces. As Lea Salonga said, A Monique never goes out of style.

And the bridal, which really deserved a standing ovation was D-I-V-I-N-E!!! The melange of satin, lace, and tafetta never looked so heavenly (especially under the chandeliers). I bet the models felt like a million bucks! ( Actually, I heard that the pieces were priced at $2,500-$20,000, ouch!) But it would be worth every penny! Hay... and for the rest of us, who dont have $20,000 to spare for a dress, all we can do is dream that we are donned in our favorite Monique tonight.

the fash pack has pictures of the event, will try to upload photo's from my camera phone. As of now, pictures of the loot bag.. heehee.
